EIGHT DPL Alumni selected to MWL and FSL All-Star Game

EIGHT DPL ALUMNI SELECTED TO 2015 MIDWEST AND FLORIDA STATE LEAGUE ALL-STAR ROSTERS  In exciting news, eight Dominican Prospect League alumni have been selected to their respective league All-Star Games. In the Midwest League, Natanael Delgado (Burlington Bees) has hit to the tune of a .275/.314/.404 slash line with a .717 OPS. He has three homeruns, three triples, and seven doubles. Yairo Munoz (Beloit Snappers) has an impressive .278/.311/.439 slash line with a .750 OPS. Munoz has knocked out seven homeruns and has 31 RBI to go along with six stolen bases on the year. Felix Jorge (Cedar Rapids Kernals) has dominated the Midwest League, pitching to a 3-2 record, 2.62 ERA and a measly 0.98 WHIP. Bryan Lizardo signs with the Toronto Blue Jays

July 26th 2013 Bryan Lizardo-3B 6’2”, 180lb, S/R, 7/26/1997, Santiago, Dominican Republic Lizardo was selected to the DPL All-Star game in early January where he impressed scouts with his switch hitting Power bat and defensive skills. He selected to the 2013 DPL Elite Travel Team last March touring Florida during spring training. He trained with Fausto Garcia in Santiago Dominican Republic. Perfect Game Scouting report Lizardo has one of the more mature builds of the DPL players, which makes his 15-year old birthdate, stand out. He was also, by a significant margin, the best defensive player at any position on the DPL roster.
